Subsidy of Existing Businesses of Gyms, Playgrounds

The scheme provides support in the form of a grant to businesses providing gym and children's play centre services which were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, as their operation was suspended throughout the period of the general restrictive measures in the country.

The aim of the Action is to cover, in the form of support for future operating costs (which include employment costs, but also depreciation of fixed equipment), part of the required liquidity for the re-start of the specific activities, as well as to provide an incentive for maintaining the strengthened activities in the near future, thus indirectly supporting the preservation of jobs.

Action Budget

THE budget of the Action is 16 million euros for all regions of the country.

The Action is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) of the European Union and by national resources.

The grant per beneficiary business will be awarded as a lump sum to cover future operating expenses.
