What the programme is
Operating a forklift professionally requires training. Under Ministerial Decision 46557/2024 (Government Gazette B’ 3350/12.06.2024), anyone who successfully completes this programme can work freely as an operator — without a prior licence.
It covers speciality 2 forklifts, diesel and electric, with engine power above 10 kW and a lifting capacity of up to 2,500 kg. You will need it in:
Warehouses & logistics
loading, unloading and stacking pallets
Industry & production
moving raw materials and products around the plant
Trade & retail
distribution centres, wholesale and large stores
Requirements
Who can take part
- at least 18 years old
- completed compulsory education in Greece or an equivalent level abroad
- a driving licence of at least category B
- health certificates for physical fitness, hearing and eyesight
What you need to bring
- ID card or passport (for non-EU citizens, also a residence or work permit)
- a copy of your qualification
- driving licence
- health certificates from a public provider: internist, orthopaedist or GP · ENT specialist · ophthalmologist
- a solemn declaration and the application form

Theory takes place in our classrooms. Practice takes place at a business with forklifts or in a controlled workshop environment — up to 12 hours can be done on a simulator. Classes of up to 8 people.

written test of 60 closed questions, 45 minutes — pass mark 80%
Practice, stage 1
up to 10 minutes — checks and simulated operation
Practice, stage 2
at least 20 minutes — driving, loading, unloading, stacking, parking; everything must be done correctly

Do I get an operator licence?
