What is the ELEKP 0.06% programme (formerly LAEK 0.24%)
Every business with staff pays, together with social security contributions, the 0.06% employer contribution to the “Single Account for the Implementation of Social Policies” (ELEKP — formerly the LAEK Account). The programme is reciprocal: the business can get this money back by training its staff in subjects of its own choice.
The beneficiary is the business itself. Each year's criteria (amounts, hours, deadlines) are set by the annual DYPA circular.
Who is eligible
All businesses, regardless of size and sector, provided the 0.06% ELEKP employer contribution has been paid for their employees.
What can be funded
- In-company training programmes in any subject: business skills, IT, sales and customer service, foreign languages, health and safety, technical specialisations.
- Delivered in KEK KEPETH's classrooms, at the business's premises or through live online training.
- The amount the business is entitled to is calculated from its gross payroll (0.06% contribution) and any unused balance from previous years, in accordance with the circular.
Benefits for the business
- Training and upskilling of staff at no extra cost.
- Making use of money that has already been paid.
- Training allowance for employees when training takes place outside working hours (€5 per hour in the most recent cycles).
- Certificate of attendance for each participant.

- We handle the submission, delivery, monitoring and the final payment claim.
