The issuance of the EOI for the new OAED program is expected "Promotion of employment through Public Benefit Programs for 25,000 people in Municipalities, Regions, Regional Social Welfare Centers (KKPP)/related bodies, Ministry Services and other bodies". Action offers work 8 months duration in 25.000 unemployed registered in the OAED registers with a monthly fee of €546 who have completed at least secondary compulsory education.

The action includes:

1. Placement in a specific employment position for 8 months in total in Municipalities, Regions, Regional Social Welfare Centers (KPPP)/ related bodies and Services of Ministries and other bodies.
2. Theoretical training program up to 150 hours, depending on the subject chosen by the beneficiary, which will lead to the certification of the knowledge and skills acquired within the program.

The action aims to strengthen/promote the employment of the unemployed with an emphasis mainly on vulnerable population groups that face a high risk of exclusion (such as the long-term unemployed, unemployed with low qualifications) and are required to work in the first phase, in a "protected environment" in order to join the labor market and avoid marginalization while maintaining their employability.

At the same time, the programs will be linked to the upgrading of knowledge and skills according to the real individual needs of the unemployed so that the participants are strengthened during the process of their integration into the labor market, so that they have a multiplying effect on the economy.

Participation right
The right to submit electronic applications to participate in the process of drawing up the list of unemployed persons for the promotion of employment, through programs of a public interest nature, has the right to submit only the unemployed registered in the unemployment registers of the OAED who belong to at least one of the following categories:

1. Registered unemployed in the OAED unemployment registers, members of families in which no one works and their spouses are registered unemployed in the OAED unemployment registers
2. Registered unemployed in the OAED unemployment registers, members of single-parent families in which no one works
3. Registered long-term unemployed in the OAED unemployment registers
4. Unemployed university and technology graduates
5. Registered in the unemployment registers of the OAED, to fill positions based on their formal qualifications
6. Registered unemployed in the unemployment registers of the OAED over 29 years old
7. Registered in the registers of unemployed disabled persons of the OAED
8. Registered unemployed in the unemployment registers of the OAED, beneficiaries of the "Social Solidarity Income" (KEA).

Criteria
The selection of employees is likely to be based on nine specific criteria:

1. Period of continuous registered unemployment of a beneficiary, with a maximum limit of 60 months, which is doubled for unemployed heads of single-parent families.
2. Period of continuous registered unemployment of the spouse of the unemployed in the above category, with a maximum limit of 60 months.
3. Beneficiary's disability at a rate of 50% and above.
4. Annual income of tax year 2018, individual or family.
5. Age.
6. Number of minor children.
7. Parent of protected or protected disabled children, minors or even adults, with a disability rate of 67% and above.
8. Beneficiaries of the Social Solidarity Allowance (KEA).
9. Beneficiaries who had not been placed in completed or under implementation "promotion of employment, through programs of public benefit" actions of the NSRF programming period 2014-2020.

Submission of applications

Applications are submitted through the Unified Digital Portal of the Government gov.gr (https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/apozemioseis-kai-parokhes/programmata-koinophelous-kharaktera).

They can also submit an online application on the OAED website (www.oaed.gr), using the relevant online application registration field.

The application process will close on Friday, March 18 at 11:00 am.
