KEK KEPETH K.D.V.M.2 in collaboration with Europroodo K.D.V.M.2 implements with the quality seal of the Laboratory of Educational Technology and Electronic Learning Systems of the University of Western Attica, a training program entitled "Counseling, Professional Orientation and Mentoring” lasting 400 hours (4 months).

Purpose of the program

The purpose of the program is to provide education and training on these specific topics, both theoretically and at the level of practical skills. The thematic sections that will be presented include the content and stages of professional counseling for adults, professional development, self-awareness, factors and obstacles in making professional decisions, preparation for entering the labor market, the use of psychometric tools, etc. etc.

 

In addition, issues related to the Counseling and Professional Orientation of children and adolescents, the guidance of students in their professional development and in their school career path, in solving problems and difficulties, in the decision-making process with the aim of joining the labor market in modern social and economic development.

Methodology

The training course:

  • It is conducted exclusively with the Distance education method (e-learning) (synchronous and asynchronous teletraining).
  • Continuous feedback of questions, queries and clarifications from the responsible trainer via email.
  • It includes a training manual, additional educational training material, audio-visual material, scientific articles, diploma theses, doctoral theses and related bibliography.
  • The final evaluation of the seminar includes the preparation of a final paper, the implementation of short educational activities and self-assessments per thematic unit of the seminar.
