Voucher from 18 to 24 years old (Beginning of Submission of 5th Round of Beneficiaries' Applications)

Target Audience

The program, with a total budget of 39.75 million euros, is aimed at graduates of secondary and post-secondary education as well as graduates of HEI/TEI.
Companies operating in the following sectors will participate in the subsidized training and internship program:
  • Logistics
  • Retail
  • Extraversion and International Trade (Primary Sector Emphasis)
  • of Information and Communication Technologies (T.P.E.)

The unemployed registered in the OAED registers will be able to submit an application for participation electronically only, depending on their specialty, on the specially configured electronic platforms:

  • www.logistics-eede.gr
  • www.esee-emporio.gr
  • www.exagogiko-eede.gr

Submission period

The submission of online applications for potential beneficiaries ends on 20/06/2018 at 23:59:59.

Subsidy

Beneficiaries will receive a subsidy 1.471€
Program innovations include:
  • Rotation of training and Internship in companies, lasting 260 hours, in order to achieve the best possible assimilation of knowledge to the unemployed.
  • Training of the beneficiaries with specific study programs based on the professional outlines approved by EOPPEP.
  • Certification of the beneficiaries' qualifications.
  • Creation of a special register of businesses in the branches, by specialty and region, through which companies will request unemployed people for internships.

It is pointed out that the companies in which the unemployed will do an internship will not be allowed to reduce their staff, from the date of signing their inclusion in the project and for as long as the implementation of the internship lasts. In particular, in the event of a reduction in personnel due to layoffs, the company must, within ten (10) working days of the layoff, undertake a new recruitment, so as to maintain a constant number of existing company personnel. It is noted that the number of staff does not include the number of practical trainees.

 

Conditions of participation

The right to participate in the Action is given to Unemployed Young People who meet the following general conditions:
  1. To have been born between 1.1.1992 and 31.12.1997
  2. Be registered in the OAED Unemployment Registers, regardless of whether they receive unemployment benefit or not
  3. Must be graduates of Compulsory/ Secondary/ Post-Secondary/ Tertiary Education
  4. Do not have student, student or student status.
  5. To have completed the standardized form/form of personalized intervention and to have agreed on an Individual Action Plan during the last four months before the deadline for submission of participation applications. The right to participate is also available to those who have completed the standard form/form of personalized intervention and have agreed to an Individual Action Plan beforehand, provided that they have not participated in any active employment policy (training or employment action) during the last six months before the deadline for submitting applications for participation. In this case, candidates update their Individual Action Plan.

Each interested party has the right to submit an Application for Participation in a single Administrative Region. It is pointed out that it is not allowed to change the Administrative Region afterwards.

 

Selection Criteria – Scoring
  • Duration of continuous unemployment.
  • Annual individual or family income (tax year 2014, i.e. income earned from 1/1/2014 – 31/12/2014). Individual income means the income of the debtor in case he submits a tax return on his own (e.g. single, single parent, divorced). Family income means the income of the debtor, his spouse and dependent members. Applicants who were not themselves required to submit a declaration (eg persons who are declared on the Income Tax Declaration as protected members) declare the annual family income of the paternal family.
Beneficiary Selection Process
The selection of beneficiaries will be carried out as follows:
  1. Completing and submitting the application online. The application can be found at edu.sepe.gr in the corresponding field. Anyone interested can submit their application from 09/11/2017 to 01/12/2017.
  2. After the deadline for submitting the application, the initial results will be posted based on what each interested party has declared in their online application. Each interested party can be informed of whether they have been initially selected using the Participation Application Submission Code (KAVAS), while a relevant informative email will also be sent to them.
  3. For the final selection, each selected candidate must submit to SEPE (Ambrosiou Frantzis 19, 117 43 Athens) the supporting documents certifying what they have stated in their application.The deadline for submitting supporting documents is ten working days from the posting of the initial results.The supporting documents he must present are the following:
  • Certified copy of ID, passport or other proof of identity.
  • Certified copy of high school/high school diploma, degree, degree of higher education in Greece or abroad recognized by DOATAP
  • Certified copy of the Taxpayer's Individual or Family Statement for the tax year 2014
  • Certified copy of his valid unemployment card.
  • Individual action plan *

* instead of presenting the Individual Action Plan, the O.A.E.D.'s Certificate of Personalized Approach is also accepted, which certifies that the beneficiary has gone through the process of personalized intervention, which should also state the date of the .In the event that the beneficiary has completed the standardized form/personalized intervention form and has agreed to an Individual Action Plan prior to the last four months before the deadline for submitting applications for participation in the context of this, i.e. before 31/3/ 2016, he is also required to submit a declaration that during this time he has not participated in any active employment policy.

Regarding the Individualized Intervention Certificates, which have an issue date later than 31/3/2016, the beneficiary, once he has completed the standard form and has agreed to an Individual Action Plan, should additionally submit a letter stating the of KAVAS and will declare that he has gone through the personalized intervention process before 11/31/2017.

4. After the verification of supporting documents, the final results will be posted and the register of beneficiaries will be finalized.

It is particularly pointed out that the finally selected beneficiaries can only participate in one action from the overall announced training, certification and counseling Actions for unemployed young people aged 18-24 in specialties related to cutting-edge sectors of the Greek Economy. For this purpose, a relevant Responsible Declaration of non-participation in another action will be requested.
