Catering Business Grant for the Supply of Outdoor Heaters

The Action aims to support the operation of catering businesses, which are affected by the effects of the outbreak of the COVID-19 disease. By subsidizing the supply of outdoor heaters, businesses are given the opportunity to operate in outdoor, legally used spaces, where better ventilation will contribute to the protection of public health.

Action Budget

THE budget of the Action is 60,000,000 euros.

The Action is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and by national resources.

Applications and Subsidy

The supply of a heater per ten (10) square meters is subsidized and up to 100 euros for each radiator. The maximum aid amount for each catering area is 5000 euros.

Beneficiaries of the Action

Beneficiaries of the Action is :

Catering businesses, regardless of their legal form.
Accommodation businesses (hotels and similar accommodation) that have an outside catering service area.

The eligible KAD in which the company to be supported must be active are:

56.10 : Restaurant and mobile catering service activities. Also included are all the KAD of subclass 56.10
56.29.20 : Canteen services. Also included are all the KAD of subcategory 56.29.20
56.30 : Beverage supply activities. Also included are all the SPCs of subclass 56.30
55.10: Hotels and similar accommodation
55.20: Holiday and other short stay accommodation.

Also included are all the KAD of the above subcategories, except for KAD 55.20.12 (Services for providing a room or accommodation unit for guests in timeshare properties) and 55.20.19 (Other services for providing a room or accommodation unit for guests, without daily cleaning).

Basic Conditions of Participation

Businesses should, among other things, satisfy the following conditions:

To be active in eligible fields of activity (KAD).
There should be no grounds for exclusion from the imposition of fines for violations of labor legislation.
A supply of radiators carried out from 01/02/2020 and before the submission of the funding application is covered by the Action, provided that the aid recipient had at least one active KAD on the date of supply and still has it on the date submission of the application for funding.

Subsidized Expenses

Outdoor heaters of any type (liquid gas, electric, natural gas, infrared panel, halogen or other), self-contained/individual or part of mobile equipment with a built-in outdoor heater.
